Youths across Kaduna and beyond have heaped praise on Mr. Yusuf Ishyaku Goje, Executive Director of the Sustainable Development Foundation, as he marks another year, describing him as a builder of people, dreams, and futures.
In a birthday message by Temiloluwa Ruth Oyelola on behalf of other youth beneficiaries, the celebrant was praised for dedicating his life to mentoring and shaping the next generation.
“Today we celebrate not just the years you’ve added, but the lives you’ve added value to,” the tribute read.
According to the youth, Mr. Goje stands out not for loud speeches, but for practical investment in human capital.

“You didn’t just talk about young people; you held them, guided them, corrected them, and pushed them to become the best versions of themselves,” the statement noted.
The group said many who once walked in uncertainty now move with clarity and purpose because of his counsel and consistent support.
“Because of you, many who were broken now stand tall. You invested your time, wisdom, and heart into shaping lives positively, and the results are walking testimonies all around us,” Oyelola stated.
She described mentorship as one of the rarest gifts in society, and said Mr. Goje has given it freely and consistently.

“A leader who builds others is rare. A mentor who stays is even rarer. You have been both,” the message added.
The beneficiaries emphasized that the impact of the celebrant cannot be measured by public applause, but by the silent success stories of those he refused to give up on.
“Your impact is not measured in applause, but in the silent success stories of the young people you refused to give up on,” the tribute continued.
On the occasion of his birthday, the group offered prayers for his continued well-being and fulfillment.
“We pray that the same God who used you to light other people’s paths will keep lighting yours,” they said.
The message further wished Mr. Goje good health, peace, strength, and the joy of seeing the seeds he planted blossom into greater impact.

“Thank you for being a father, a teacher, and a compass to a generation. We celebrate you today, and we are proud to call you ours,” Oyelola said on behalf of the group.
Concluding the tribute, the young people declared: “Happy Birthday, Mr. Goje. The world is better because you are in it.”
The celebrant has over the years been recognized within youth circles for his dedication to guidance, empowerment, and positive reorientation of young people in Kaduna State and beyond.
