American singer Ciara has announced that she is expecting her fifth child. The new baby will be the fourth; she shares her husband, NFL star, Russell Wilson.
The couple announced the pregnancy on Sunday, in a joint Instagram post, with Ciara, 40, revealing her baby bump in a series of vintage-style photos and video clips.
“One more person to Love,” the couple captioned the post, with the five-finger emoji appearing to reference their growing family of five children.
The casual announcement featured Ciara outdoors, apparently in the couple’s backyard, wearing a white tank top and jeans while sporting her hair in rollers. She was seen hanging four white shirts bearing the names of the couple’s existing children — Future, Sienna, Win and Amora — before revealing a blank white baby onesie for the newest addition.
Ciara also held up five fingers while showing off her baby bump, while Wilson, 37, joined her in some of the clips, smiling and also holding up five fingers. Their youngest daughter, Amora, was featured in one of the slides holding a film
Ciara’s eldest child, Future Zahir, 12, is from her previous relationship with rapper Future. She and Wilson are parents to Sienna Princess, Win Harrison and Amora Princess, who was born in December 2023.
The pregnancy announcement also marks the apparent fulfilment of Wilson’s long-running campaign for “Baby Cinco”.
Wilson has repeatedly spoken publicly about his desire to have a fifth child with Ciara. In 2024, he commented on one of her Instagram posts: “I’m ready when you are. We can call him Cinco.”
Ciara later recounted that Wilson had raised the subject of having another child shortly after Amora’s birth.
Speaking to Us Weekly in July 2026, Ciara recalled Wilson asking about “cinco” while she was still processing the arrival of their daughter. She said she responded that it was “disrespectful”, adding that he needed to “slow it down, sir. We just had a baby here. Let’s be in this moment.”
However, Ciara has also previously expressed openness to having another child, saying motherhood was her “favorite job of all” and that she could see having “cinco” someday.
Wilson continued his public campaign in July, telling E! News at Fanatics Fest that he was trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth child.
“We have four amazing kids and I’m trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth. Cinco, you got to be on the way soon,” he said.
Following Sunday’s announcement, Wilson commented “Baby Cinco!” on the couple’s Instagram post, prompting fans to celebrate the long-awaited addition to their family.
Ciara and Wilson married in 2016 and have continued to balance their family life with their respective careers.
The couple has not disclosed the baby’s due date, sex or name.
