The Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Kaduna State, has inaugurated new committees and directorates, emphasizing the importance of unity among political parties as a foundation for strengthening democracy in the state and the country.
Speaking at the inauguration and awards ceremony held on July 29, 2026, Chairman of IPAC Kaduna State, Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha, described the day as a celebration of unity, democracy, and leadership.
“I welcome you all most warmly to this grand gathering. Today is a special day. A day to celebrate unity, democracy, and leadership,” Mustapha said.
He expressed appreciation to IPAC leaders for their vision and selfless service, noting that their commitment has inspired both current and future leaders across Nigeria.
“To all my colleagues — the Chairmen of all the political parties in Kaduna State under the umbrella of IPAC, I say thank you for honoring this invitation. Your presence here shows that despite our different platforms and ideologies, we are united by one common goal: the growth of democracy in Kaduna State and Nigeria,” he stated.
Mustapha emphasized that the unity of political parties in the state is crucial to truly strengthening democracy.
“We must respect each other’s views and opinions as democrats. We may compete during elections, but after the ballots are cast, we must come together to build the institutions, values, and peace that our people deserve.

A united IPAC is a stronger IPAC. When we speak with one voice, we are better equipped to engage with the government, protect the democratic space, and ensure that the rules of the game are fair for everyone,” he said.
He urged members to follow the new IPAC Constitution of 2025, indicating that strict adherence to the rules will foster a disciplined, credible, and people-focused IPAC.
“Under the leadership of our exceptional and dedicated National Chairman, Hon. Dantalle, who is deeply committed to strengthening democracy in Nigeria, we have every reason to be optimistic,” Mustapha added.
The IPAC Chairman also congratulated award recipients for their outstanding contributions to democracy and party development, stating that their recognition should motivate others.
He called on members to reaffirm their commitment to IPAC’s core values of unity, mutual respect, tolerance, and service to democracy.
“Let us therefore recommit ourselves today to the ideals of IPAC: unity, mutual respect, tolerance, and service to democracy. Our unity makes us stronger, and a strong IPAC means a stronger Kaduna State and Nigeria,” he said.

Government officials, including Dr. Abdul Ahmad Isiaq, Special Adviser to the Governor of Kaduna State on Stakeholders Relations, and Hajiya Hadiza Yahuza, Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-Party Affairs, were present.
Also attending were four past IPAC Chairmen and other former leaders of the Coalition of Political Parties in Kaduna State.
In his closing remarks, Mustapha thanked all party chairpersons for their dedication and prayed for the progress of IPAC, Kaduna State, and Nigeria.
“Together, we can make Nigeria and Kaduna State great. May God bless IPAC, Kaduna State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he concluded.
