Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, bringing the “Show Ya Sef” edition of the reality television show to a close after 10 weeks of competition.
Nkem was announced as the winner during the live grand finale on Sunday, October 4, 2026, after defeating the other finalists in a season that began with 24 housemates. The official Big Brother Naija platform confirmed her victory, with Aikou finishing as runner-up and Sheba taking third place.
The 21-year-old content creator secured 25.87 per cent of the total votes cast by viewers in Nigeria and across Africa, according to the published voting results. Aikou polled 23.68 per cent, while Sheba received 9.80 per cent.
Nkem’s victory comes with a prize package valued at ₦160 million. The package includes ₦90 million in cash, a brand-new sport utility vehicle and additional prizes provided by the show’s sponsors. The cash component was reduced from the initially announced ₦100 million after ₦10 million was allocated to the season’s Most Influential Player of the Week prize fund.
The grand finale marked the conclusion of a 70-day journey for the housemates. The season premiered in July with 24 contestants and featured weekly nominations, evictions, Head of House competitions, tasks and several twists that changed the dynamics inside the house.
The finale itself began with nine remaining contestants — Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram — before the field was progressively reduced.
According to Africa Magic’s official account of the finale, the final three were eventually Nkem, Aikou and Sheba. They were brought to the finale stage together before the final voting results were announced and Nkem was declared the winner.
The finale also featured performances by Nigerian artistes Teni and Oshamo as viewers followed the final evictions and awaited the announcement of the winner.
Nkem, whose full name is reported as Temitope Chigbue, was born and raised in London and has Nigerian roots connected to Delta State. Before entering the BBNaija house, she was an Accounting and Finance student and content creator. Africa Magic described her as one of the 24 contestants who entered the competition at the beginning of the season.
Her route to the final was not without setbacks. During the season, she experienced twists including a fake eviction that temporarily removed her from the main house before she returned to the competition. Her time on the show also included participation in tasks, diary sessions, competitions and the changing alliances that characterised the season.
The victory also places Nkem among the women who have won the Nigerian edition of the Big Brother franchise. She becomes the fifth female winner of BBNaija, following Mercy Eke, Phyna, Ilebaye and Imisi.
Season 11 was also notable for its format and disciplinary developments. Reports on the season said it recorded two disqualifications and one voluntary exit, while the competition incorporated several changes to its nomination, Head of House and BB Bucks systems.
The result brings the “Show Ya Sef” season to an official close, with Nkem becoming the latest housemate to join the list of BBNaija winners.
Her win also marks the beginning of a new phase outside the reality show. Before her victory, Nkem had expressed interest in expanding her digital content career, including lifestyle video production and potential collaborations with fashion and entertainment brands.
The 2026 edition attracted sustained attention from viewers throughout its 70-day run, with the final voting results ultimately placing Nkem ahead of Aikou and Sheba.
As the BBNaija house closes for another season, Nkem leaves the competition with the ₦160 million prize package and the title of Big Brother Naija Season 11 winner.
