Big Brother Naija Season 11 winner, Temi Nkem, has officially received the major components of her ₦160 million prize package, including a brand-new Hyundai SUV and ₦90 million in cash.
The prize presentation took place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the MultiChoice studio in Lagos, two days after Temi was crowned winner of the “Show Ya Sef” edition of the reality television show. Channels Television and Premium Times independently reported the handover.
The 21-year-old reality television star was presented with the SUV and a cheque for ₦90 million at the ceremony attended by some of her fellow Season 11 housemates. The prize package also includes additional items provided by the show’s sponsors.
Temi emerged as the winner during the live finale on Sunday, October 4, after securing 25.87 per cent of the final votes. Aikou finished as the first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba placed third with 9.80 per cent.
Her victory came after 70 days of competition involving 24 housemates. According to the official Big Brother Naija platform, Temi, whose full name is Temitope Chigbue, entered the competition as one of the 24 contestants and eventually secured the ₦160 million grand prize package.
The cash component of the prize was originally announced as ₦100 million. However, ₦10 million was subsequently allocated to the season’s Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW) fund, leaving Temi with ₦90 million in cash as part of her final prize package.
The presentation marks the formal delivery of some of the most significant rewards attached to Temi’s victory. The Hyundai SUV was handed over by representatives of the show’s sponsors, while the cash component was presented in the form of a cheque.
Speaking after her victory, Temi said she intended to invest a substantial portion of her winnings. In an interview with Premium Times at the prize presentation in Lagos, she also disclosed plans to complete her university education and support her parents.
Temi is an Accounting and Finance student and was born and raised in London before participating in the Nigerian reality show. She said her immediate plans include returning to her studies while exploring opportunities created by her new public profile.
Her win also placed her among the women who have claimed the Big Brother Naija title. She is the fifth female winner of the show, following Mercy Eke, Phyna, Ilebaye and Imisi.
The development comes just days after the conclusion of the Season 11 competition, which was branded “Show Ya Sef”. The season began with 24 housemates and ended with Temi taking the top prize after edging out Aikou and Sheba in the final vote.
