The Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA) has lauded the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, for enrolling 1,000 vulnerable persons from Sanga Local Government Area in the state health insurance scheme.
The Director-General of KADCHMA, Mallam Abubakar Hassan, gave the commendation at the flag-off ceremony held in Gwantu, the headquarters of Sanga Local Government Area.
Hassan, who was represented by the Head of Administration and Finance, Mallam Suleiman Mustapha, described the gesture as a demonstration of commitment to the health and well-being of vulnerable residents.

He commended the Deputy Governor. He reaffirmed KADCHMA’s commitment to expanding health insurance coverage to ensure that vulnerable populations have access to quality, affordable healthcare under the Kaduna State Contributory Health Scheme (KSCHS).
The 1,000 beneficiaries were drawn from various wards across Sanga LGA and included four major categories: elderly persons, children under five, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities.
Earlier, the representative of the Chairman of Sanga Local Government Council, Hon. He described it as a significant intervention that would improve their access to healthcare.

The Chief of Sanga, Alhaji Balarabe, also appreciated the initiative, noting its importance in supporting vulnerable members of the community.
Some beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Deputy Governor for the support and pledged to use the healthcare services provided under the scheme to improve their health and overall living conditions.
