The Kwande Local Government PDP Youth Leader, Hon. Anum Aondona, has continued his grassroots engagement tour across Nanev, Kwande LGA, with visits to Usar, Mbagba/Ikyan, Mbayoo, and Adikpo Township this week.
The ward tour, according to the Youth Leader, is aimed at strengthening party unity, listening directly to young people, assessing challenges, and mobilizing support for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
In Usar, Hon. Aondona met with the Usar Youth Leader Hon. Ageba Henry, J Boy, John Gboko, kindred youth leaders, the Ward Chairman, party faithful, and PDP Leader Nanev, Hon. Msugh Viashima,
Discussions focused on inclusiveness, party unity, and rallying support for all PDP candidates from the governorship down to the State House of Assembly.
Hon. Viashima urged the youths not to relent, citing developmental projects facilitated by PDP leaders from Usar, including Hon. Mrs. Mardaline Dura, Orjiir, John Akperashi, and other sons and daughters of the community during the PDP era.
In Mbagba/Ikyan, the emphasis was on continuous engagement. Mbagba/Ikyan Youth Leader Hon. Wende Terungwa stressed the need to keep youths involved at all levels.
Ward leaders including Hon. Tyokula Atetan, Moses Gile, Pst. Torkuma Mtom and others pledged to mobilize massively for all PDP candidates.
Hon. Aondona assured them that their demands would be looked into, and urged them to bring more youths closer so that “no one is left behind.”
Prominent youths present included Toryila Azaigba, Aondona Tar, Orta Williams, and Ako Jerome.
The tour wrapped up in Adikpo Township, the LGA headquarters, with a large gathering of representatives from various kindreds.
Addressing the crowd, Hon. Aondona emphasized unity across the kindreds of Adikpo and called on youths to shun divisive politics.
“Your voice matters. We are here to carry your challenges to the table and to ensure that no ward is left behind,” he said.
Reacting, Hon. Adanyi Anenge decried decades of marginalization of Kwande and challenged youths to “rise up and grab what legitimately belongs to them.”
Also in attendance were Township Chairman Hon. Amande Denen, Youth Leader Hon. Oryina Tarzoho, Ukaan Sonnen, and other stakeholders.
The Youth Leader said the tour will continue to other wards in the coming days as the PDP in Kwande LGA intensifies grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2026 general elections.
